If your writing has stalled, here are 20 ways to increase productivity.


Whenever I’m asked to describe my upcoming release, No More Secrets, I start by saying that it’s women’s fiction. And then I wait for the usual questions that follow:
How is that different from romance?
Are men allowed to read your book?
Is there a specific genre for men’s fiction?
I can’t help smiling and shaking my head at the last two questions. Far be it from me to set restrictions on who can and cannot read my novels. As for men’s fiction, that particular genre doesn’t exist.

This past year, I have read several books with unsatisfying endings. In one case, I wondered if the novel had been worth my time and attention. The author had started with a compelling opening, the characters were well-developed, and each chapter ended on a suspenseful note.
