How did I miss this post????
I LOVE chocolate chip cookies and I’ve used Crisco (instead of butter) in the Nestle Toll House recipe for years. I have experimented with other recipes, but keep coming back to the Toll House one…..with the exception of when my kids want to just eat the dough—then we use melted butter instead of the Crisco—LOL! I know we shouldn’t eat raw dough….we take our chances and coddle the eggs.
I’ll try this recipe—-I love to experiment and your recipes are always yummy!
Thanks!
Good to see you here, Becky. Hope you’re having a wonderful summer and getting some well-deserved R & R. Enjoy the recipe! 🙂
It’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Day for me every day! I’m the family Cookie Monster! Thanks for the recipe!
Another chocolate chip cookie fan! Thanks for dropping by, Noelle 🙂
Chocolate chip cookies – always a favorite for my family. Thanks for the recipe, sounds scrumptious..
Cat
You’re welcome, Cat. Hope you’re having a good weekend. Stay cool! 🙂
Sounds yummy. I always use the recipe on the back of the Nestle’s toll house chocolate chip bag. Unfortunately, I can’t stop with just one cookie, so I don’t bake them much anymore, except at holidays when family is here to help eat them. Thanks for the recipe!
You’re very welcome, Catherine. Like you, I rarely bake these cookies. Too much temptation! 🙂
Yummy…
Thanks for dropping by 🙂
