  1. Thank you for sharing. It’s funny how not having ever met her, only being familiar with her work, that I would feel such a loss with her passing. Amazing how many lives she’s touched, really impacted, by just her words.

  3. News of Maya’s passing hit me hard. I couldn’t figure out why I felt like crying a little while ago and then I connected it to the loss of her voice and presence. My current favorite quote of the ones you shared is “I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” How true.
