I can identify with the majestic and awe-inspiring Chinese Bamboo tree.

After preparing the soil and planting seeds, you wait…and wait…and wait.

During the first four years, there is no sign of growth. In the fifth year, there is an extraordinary growth spurt and the tree reaches a height of ninety feet.

After retiring in 2008, I revisited a forty-year-old dream. A writing practice slowly emerged, and my  articles and book reviews started appearing in newspapers, magazines and online.

In January 2013, Debby Gilbert, senior editor at Soul Mate Publishing, offered me a contract for my paranormal romance, Between Land and Sea. The e-book will be released in September.
